Trainee butcher wanted in Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Washington County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. Your main tasks: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Season and marinate meat on request You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
