Great opportunity: fabricator-welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Dallas County, Texas. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
