Urgent requirement: in-process quality controller (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Kern County, California. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Day to day you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
