Stainless steel welder • Clay County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Clay County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 4+ years on the tools preferred.
