Ironing operator — Galveston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Galveston County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On the job you will handle: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
