Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Dallas County, Alabama. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens The role involves: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
