Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in City and County of Swansea, Wales. The job is on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Your main tasks: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
