Confectioner wanted in City of Colonial Heights

Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks On the job you will handle: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
