Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Harford County, Maryland. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line The role involves: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Overtime paid at a premium rate.
