Vacancy available: stainless steel welder (Oregon)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jefferson County, Oregon. You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 2+ years on the tools preferred.
