Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Morgan County, Colorado. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time with occasional weekends.
