We are recruiting: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Boone County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing On a typical shift you will seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors. $7,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
