Sheet metal welder wanted in Lyon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lyon County, Minnesota. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
