Immediate opening: we are hiring a catering cook in Wahkiakum County, Washington. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
