Semi-automatic welder wanted in Sibley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Sibley County, Minnesota. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Six days a week, one day off.
