You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings You will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle.
