Furnace operator — Akure South

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Akure South, Ondo State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Pay around ₦155,000 per month, based on your experience.
