Immediate opening: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Dickson County, Tennessee. You will work in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
