Great opportunity: we are hiring an access control officer in Buchanan County, Iowa. You will work in a CCTV control room. You should have: • Ex-servicemen preferred • Clean police verification with no criminal record • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
