Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Pike County, Mississippi. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Full-time, day shift.
