The role involves: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
