Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Emmet County, Michigan. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. What we are looking for: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Your main tasks: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
