Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Sherman County, Nebraska. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
