Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Dickinson County, Iowa. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
