Brick mason — Presque Isle County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Presque Isle County, Michigan. You will be based at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On a typical shift you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
