Now hiring: we are hiring a bike messenger in Amherst County, Virginia. The job is at a restaurant running its own delivery. Your main tasks: • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Wear a helmet and reflective jacket and follow road-safety rules • Handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding • Collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift • Refuel the bike and log fuel expenses against each run What we are looking for: • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app • Willing to work shifts, weekends and peak meal times • Clean riding record with no major traffic violations Rotating shifts. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
