Cnc turner wanted in Highland

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc turner in Highland, Scotland. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
