Gas installation technician — Austin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Austin County, Texas. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections.
