Stitching operator • Vermilion Parish, Louisiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
