Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Linn County, Missouri. The job is at a fast-food outlet. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat You will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; prepare the mise en place before each service; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency.
