Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Orleans County, Vermont. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates The role involves set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
