Gas appliance installer — St. Lawrence County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in St. Lawrence County, New York. The job is in a gas distribution network. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces On the job you will handle: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
