Urgent requirement: GTAW welder (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Hyde County, North Carolina. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
