We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Nance County, Nebraska. The job is on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
