Now hiring: finishing presser (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Deuel County, South Dakota. You will be based in a garment export house. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
