Immediate opening: shuttering charge hand (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Kiowa County, Kansas. Day to day you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
