Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. You will be based on a road construction project. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
