We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Orkney Islands, Scotland. The role involves: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Six days a week, one day off.
