CO2 welder wanted in Pickens County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Pickens County, Georgia. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
