Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Montgomery County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Montgomery County, Mississippi. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
