We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Gwynedd, Wales. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 2+ years on the tools preferred.
