Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Christian County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Rotating shifts.
