Shopfront glazier wanted in Wasco County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Wasco County, Oregon. The job is in a mirror and glass showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts You should have: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
