Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Dickens County, Texas. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Your main tasks: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Full-time with occasional weekends.
