CNC mill setter-operator • Linn County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Linn County, Iowa. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance.
