Stainless steel welder — Lincoln County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lincoln County, Idaho. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
