Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Mendocino County, California. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
