UPVC welding machine operator — East Ayrshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The role involves install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
