Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift technician in Macon County, Illinois. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands.
