Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Liverpool, England. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £2,200 per month plus benefits.
